C’est en costume mais sans cravate que le Président, ravi de retrouver le milieu des startups, s’est adressé à une centaine de dirigeants de la French Tech.

Dans le cadre du plan de relance, l’écosystème va recevoir 7 milliards d’euros dont 3,7 milliards destinés aux startups.
Près d’une trentaine de Startups ont été reçues à l’Élysée, l’occasion de présenter les actions du plan de relance à destination de ce secteur stratégique pour l’économie française.
Le secteur représente 20% à 30% des nouveaux emplois nets selon l’Élysée et il a plutôt résisté au confinement.
« On est en train de démontrer qu’on peut continuer à faire des événements en période Covid », mentionne le Président, bien loin des 600 convives de l’année dernière, ils seront une centaine assis à bonne distance les uns des autres.

Selon Emmanuel Macron nous sommes le pays d’Europe continentale qui crée le plus de startups (13 actuellement pour un objectif de 25 « licornes » d’ici 2025) mais aussi celui qui sait les développer et les faire grandir.
C’est en commençant son annonce par « La France c’est le pays des lumières, de l’innovation » que le Président a affirmé prendre le tournant de la 5G ne croyant pas au « modèle Amish » et au retour de la « lampe à huile », dit-il d’un air provocateur pour dénoncer la tribune des maires écologistes de grandes villes publiée le dimanche 13 septembre. Pour lui, l’innovation sera véritablement technologique mais aussi sociale.

En ce qui concerne la recherche, Emmanuel Macron, qui s’affiche comme un soutien de la French Tech depuis son passage au ministère de l’Économie sous François Hollande, a tenu à rappeler les trois secteurs prioritaires en termes d’investissement de rupture : Le quantique, l’intelligence artificielle et la cybersécurité seront consolidés dans les prochains mois, étant donné que « le secteur privé ne peut assurer tout seul le financement » de tous ces projets. Malgré la difficulté de trouver la nécessité d’investir des milliards d’euros dans des secteurs encore « inconnus » la création d’emplois qui en découle est, elle, très visible. Cette année, malgré la crise sanitaire, près de 25 000 emplois nets créés. Un secteur dynamique et porteur d’espoirs même s’il est encore fragile car naissant.
